2000 Trees Festival – SATURDAY’S TOP THREE

Well, 2000 Trees Festival is over for another year.

It was a truly remarkable weekend of music and it’s hard to believe that we need to wait another 12 months to be back at Upcote Farm.

We know this should have been with you a couple of days ago but we’ve been struggling with post-trees-blues, but here are the top three bands we saw at 2000 Trees on Saturday.

Our full review and gallery is coming soon so keep your eyes peeled!

The Scottish pop-punkers played a riotous set in the Cave but bared a vulnerable edge with their new tracks. They’re shooting for an OTT fun sound with hard cutting subject matter and they’re hitting that target perfectly.

Over on the Main Stage Beans On Toast played some optimistic acoustic tracks undercut with social

commentary. The crowd laughed, they cheered and they rallied against the evils of the world together.

  1. Enter Shikari

Without a doubt the best headliner we’ve ever seen at 2000 Trees Festival. There’s a reason why Enter Shikari won Best Live Band at the Heavy Music Awards last year – it’s because their performances are sensational. From mad dance moves, impressive light shows, and multiple sing along moments – Enter Shikari ticked all of the boxes.
